This Privacy Policy explains how Bit Quantum Pty Limited (ABN 18 669 538 238) ("we", "us", "our")
collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you use Invoicify
(invoicify.com.au). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Who We Are
Invoicify is operated by Bit Quantum Pty Limited, an Australian company. If you have any privacy

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account information — email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Company profile — business name, ABN, address, phone, email, banking details you enter
- Client data — names, email addresses and contact details of your clients that you add to Invoicify
- Invoice data — invoice numbers, line items, amounts and dates
- Payment information — billing details processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details
- Usage data — log data, IP address, browser type and feature usage for service improvement
- Google account information — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Invoicify service
- Generate and store PDF invoices on your behalf
- Send invoices to your clients via email (when you request it)
- Process subscription payments through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
- Respond to support requests
- Improve and develop our service
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the
ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region, keeping your data within Australia:
- Database — account, client and invoice data stored in a PostgreSQL database (Neon)
- PDF files — generated invoice PDFs stored in AWS S3
- Email delivery — invoice emails sent via AWS Simple Email Service (SES)
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against
unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Invoicify:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, email delivery, file storage
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro and Business subscriptions
- Google — optional Google Sign-In authentication
- Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
6. Email Communications
When you use the email sending feature, Invoicify sends invoice emails to your clients on your
behalf using AWS SES. We track delivery status (sent, delivered, opened, bounced) so you can
see the status within the app. We do not use this tracking data for any purpose other than
displaying it to you.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will
delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law
(e.g. financial records).
8. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Complain about a privacy breach

9. Cookies
Invoicify uses only essential cookies required for authentication (secure, httpOnly session
cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes
by email or via a notice in the app. Continued use of Invoicify after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
