3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

6. Email Communications

When you use the email sending feature, Invoicify sends invoice emails to your clients on your behalf using AWS SES. We track delivery status (sent, delivered, opened, bounced) so you can see the status within the app. We do not use this tracking data for any purpose other than displaying it to you.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. financial records).

Financial records — including invoices, line items and billing history — are retained for at least 7 years from the date of creation, in accordance with Australian Taxation Office record-keeping requirements, even after your account is closed.

If we become aware of an eligible data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.
